For every toolbox
Custom Tool Drawer Organizer.
Any Toolbox, Any Layout.
A Snap-On-style foam-fit insert, designed to your kit and printed to your drawer. Sockets, wrenches, drivers, pliers — each tool in its silhouette. Any brand of toolbox.
Positioning
Snap-On is $800. We’re not.
Snap-On’s foam-cut inserts are the gold standard for a shop drawer. They also cost more than most people’s entire rolling cabinet, and they only fit a Snap-On box. If you don’t own the box, you don’t get the fit.
Custom Organizers gives you the same silhouette-fit experience — every socket, wrench, and driver dropped into its own pocket — printed to your exact drawer, in any toolbox brand, at roughly a third of the price. Punch your drawer measurements into the editor, load a preset, tweak the layout, order.
Tools we have templated
Drop in what you own. We already have the silhouettes.
Every silhouette is measured from a real tool, not a stock clipart. Missing something? Send a photo and we’ll add it to your design manually.

Foam-cut vs 3D-printed
How the two approaches stack up.
| Trait | Snap-On foam | Custom Organizers PLA |
|---|---|---|
| Fits my drawer | Only if you own a Snap-On box | Any drawer, any brand |
| Durability under load | Compresses over years | Rigid — no deformation |
| Oil / fluid resistance | Absorbs | Wipes clean |
| Cost (typical drawer) | $120 – $200 | $25 – $60 |
| Custom silhouettes | Fixed catalog | Any tool, send a photo |
| Color options | Black or grey | Full filament palette |
| Repair-a-slot | Cut new foam | Reprint one insert |
Foam is genuinely great where it fits. If you own the Snap-On box and the tool set is already in their catalog, buy the foam. Everything else is our territory.
How it works for tools
Outline-fit cutouts, not generic rectangles.
Punch your drawer
Interior width, depth, height. Every dimension in millimetres. The editor rebuilds the layout at your size.
Load a preset or start blank
Metric mechanic, imperial mechanic, precision electronics, general shop. Presets snap on and you edit from there.
Drag tools onto the grid
Every silhouette follows the tool profile. Ratchets get the ratchet head, sockets get the flat + drive hole, wrenches get the box + open end.
FAQ
Shop-drawer specifics.
Will it hold up to shop use?
PLA is stiff and stable at room temperature. For a cold shop or an unheated garage, it will outlast the tools you put in it. For a hot engine bay or a drawer that sits next to a torch, PETG is the better call — we can print any design in PETG on request; email [email protected] and we will swap the material.
Is it oil-resistant?
PLA shrugs off motor oil, brake fluid, WD-40, and most solvents. Long-term acetone contact will craze the surface — not typical for a tool drawer. If your kit is stored with harsh solvents open, ask for PETG.
Can I add a tool I own that isn’t in your library?
Yes. Send a photo of the tool on graph paper (or a caliper reading) and we will add its silhouette to your design manually. No upcharge for the first two custom silhouettes per order.
How is this different from a Snap-On foam insert?
Snap-On foam is die-cut EVA scoped to their toolbox line. Ours is 3D-printed PLA sized to any drawer you punch measurements for — Craftsman, Harbor Freight, Kobalt, US General, a rolling cabinet you built yourself. Same fit-to-silhouette experience, roughly a third of the cost, ships from Canada.
Does it work in a top chest AND a bottom drawer?
Yes — different drawer heights each get their own insert. Add each design to your cart separately; a mechanic’s typical order is a shallow socket-and-wrench insert for the top chest and a deeper impact-driver-and-ratchet insert for the bottom.
