Terms of Service
Effective 2026-09-13. Last updated 2026-09-13.
These terms are the contract between you and The Nimbus Corporation ("Custom Organizers," "we," "us") when you use customorg.com or place an order. By clicking "Place order" you accept them. Read the highlighted paragraphs carefully — they limit your ability to get a refund on a made-to-order piece and cap our liability.
1. Who we are
Custom Organizers is a service operated by The Nimbus Corporation, a Canadian company. Contact: [email protected].
2. Made-to-order — please read
Every organizer you order is 3D-printed to the exact dimensions and layout you enter in the editor. Nothing is stocked; nothing is pre-made. Because the piece is manufactured for you specifically, the usual retail return right does not apply and refunds are limited to the cases below.
At checkout you confirm your drawer measurements. We record that confirmation with a timestamp and your IP address (the "fit-consent record"). If the dimensions you entered turn out to be wrong for your drawer, the piece is still yours and no refund is due — but we're happy to sell you a corrected version at cost. Reach out and we'll help.
3. Defective-print reprint policy
If the piece we ship you doesn't match the design you approved — printed with the wrong compartments, wrong dimensions, wrong colour, physically defective (warped, cracked, missing walls), or arrives broken from shipping — that's on us. Email [email protected] within 60 calendar days of delivery with a photo of the defect and your order number. We use the Canada Post tracking delivery timestamp as the anchor for that clock, not the order date, so a slow-shipping order doesn't burn your inspection window.
We will, at our option, reprint the piece and ship it to you at no charge, or (if within the §4 refund window) refund the full order to the card you paid with. We do not require you to return the defective piece — please recycle or dispose of it locally.
4. Refund window
Money-back refund requests — any legitimate ground where you want the card charged back rather than a replacement piece — must be made within 30 calendar days of the order date. This is a hard limit enforced by our order system and is not negotiable except by explicit written agreement from us. Refunds settle back to the original card in 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
Two clocks, one policy: §3's 60-day reprint window (from delivery) is separate from this §4 30-day refund window (from order). If a defect surfaces after the refund window has closed but within the reprint window, we'll ship you a replacement at no charge — that's the make-it-right path. If both windows are still open, you pick which one you want.
5. Design ownership + our licence
You keep all rights to the drawer designs you create in the editor. We are not claiming ownership of them.
We do need a limited licence to use each design solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order: to render it in the editor, to convert it to a 3D printable file, to print it, to reprint it if required under §3, and to keep it on file against the order for as long as the order retention window requires (see the Privacy Policy). We will not use your designs for marketing, promotional imagery, or any purpose unrelated to your order without asking you first.
If you share a design via a public permalink (a /d/{id} link), that link is unlisted but accessible to anyone who has it. Don't share the link if you want the design kept private.
6. Pricing, lead times, availability
The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that order — we don't change it after you commit. We reserve the right to change our published price list at any time (for future orders), to run out of a colour or material, or to discontinue a template. Advertised lead times are our target range, not a guarantee: unusual queue depth, printer downtime, or Canada Post service interruptions can push an order out. We will email you if your order is delayed by more than 3 business days beyond the range we quoted.
Shipping quotes are provided at checkout by Canada Post and reflect actual carrier pricing at that moment. Once you pay, that shipping price is fixed for your order regardless of subsequent Canada Post changes.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Order designs that infringe on someone else's intellectual property (trademarked logos, copyrighted characters, patented mechanical geometry) — the legal responsibility for what you upload sits with you.
- Attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or bypass the security of the site (rate-limiting evasion, credential stuffing, scraping the pricing engine).
- Order pieces intended to conceal or facilitate an illegal act.
- Chargeback in bad faith. Legitimate disputes are welcome; friendly-fraud claims will be defended with our fit-consent record, delivery confirmation, and order timeline.
We may refuse or cancel orders that violate any of the above, and will refund the full amount if we cancel before the piece enters the print queue.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Except as explicitly promised in §3 (defective-print reprint), the service and every product are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent Canadian law allows.
Custom Organizers pieces are for household organization. They are not certified for medical, food-contact, automotive-safety, aerospace, or any other regulated use. Do not use them for anything you wouldn't trust an off-the-shelf PLA plastic tray to hold.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Canadian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the service or purchase of a product is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including but not limited to lost profits, lost time, lost data, damage to property in the drawer you were organizing) even if we were warned that such damages were possible.
Some provinces do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages. To the extent your jurisdiction is one of them, the limits in this section apply only to the extent permitted.
10. Governing law + dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. You agree that any dispute you have with us will be resolved in the courts of the City of Toronto, Ontario. Both parties waive any objection to that forum.
Nothing in these terms overrides mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the province where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms as the service evolves. Material changes — anything that reduces the reprint or refund policy, adds a new liability disclaimer, or changes the governing law — will be announced by email to every account holder at least 14 days before they take effect. If you have an unshipped order at the moment of change, the terms in effect at the time you placed that order continue to apply until the order is delivered.
